Gutter Installation in South Charlotte, NC
If your gutters sag, leak at the seams or spill over in a hard storm, new seamless gutters can carry that water away from your house again. At Badger Gutters, we do gutter installation and replacement across South Charlotte and Pineville, and everything we install carries our 10-year workmanship warranty.
I'm Ben Krupp, and I own Badger Gutters. I still run estimates myself and I'm out on job sites. We're local and family owned, not a franchise, and the crew on your roof works for us.
Seamless gutter installation and replacement in South Charlotte
Most of our work is gutter replacement. Gutters usually last about 20 years, and once a system gets there, repairs start costing more than new gutters would. We tear off the old system, haul it away and form new seamless aluminum gutters on site, cut to each run of your roof. Our own crew hangs them, seals the corners and sets the pitch so the water heads for the downspouts.
Why South Charlotte homeowners call Badger Gutters

Signs your gutters need replacing
Walk around the house after a hard rain and look for:
- A gutter that sags or has pulled away from the fascia board
- Cracks, splits or rust in more than a couple of spots
- Water running down behind the gutter instead of into it when it rains
- A soft or rotting fascia board behind the gutter
- Spikes and nails turning up in the yard
- Seams that leak at nearly every joint
- Gutters more than 20 years old
One of these is usually a repair. Several at once means the system is worn out.
What we install
Every job gets hidden hangers screwed into the fascia, stainless screws, and commercial-grade sealant at every corner and end cap. The full specs are on our gutter installation page.
Seamless aluminum gutters made on site
We run aluminum coil through the machine on our truck in your driveway and cut one continuous piece for each side of the roof, so the only seams are the corners and end caps, and we seal both. It's .032 aluminum, about 20% thicker than the .027 on most homes, in K-style, half-round or box, in colors matched to common trim.
5-inch or 6-inch gutters
Charlotte's short, heavy rainstorms can send a lot of water off your roof in just a few minutes. A 6-inch gutter handles more water than a 5-inch, which makes it the better option for those downpours, especially on steep roofs and long gutter runs. For most homes in the Charlotte area, we recommend 6-inch gutters. We rarely install 5-inch anymore: 6-inch runs about 10% more, and in almost every case it's worth it.
Downspouts and fascia
Downspouts come in 2x3 and 3x4, and the 3x4 clogs less under trees. If the fascia behind your old gutter is soft, we replace it first, because new gutters hung on rotten wood pull loose and you end up paying twice.
How a gutter replacement works
- Estimate: we measure each run, check the fascia and where the water goes now, and give you a written price, most often within 24 to 48 hours of your call.
- Tear-off and fabrication: we take the old gutters down, haul them away and form the new ones on site.
- Install: we hang everything on hidden hangers, seal every corner and end cap, set the pitch toward the downspouts, then run and strap the downspouts.
- Walkthrough: we run water through it, check the work with you and clean up, backed by our $50 cleanup guarantee.
Gutter guards for South Charlotte trees
If oaks or pines hang over your roof, price guards with the new gutters. That's when they cost the least: the ladders are already up, and it's one crew and one trip. We carry four guard types, led by ONE and Lock n Mesh, both with a lifetime material warranty from the manufacturer. Under mature pines we only install micro-mesh, because needles slide through anything coarser.
Guards cut maintenance way down but don't end it. Spring oak pollen settles on top of any guard, and a rinse once a year clears it. The options are on our gutter guards page.
Repair or replace?
We'll tell you which one you need. A section that came loose in a storm, a leaking corner or one run with the pitch off is a repair, and most of our repairs run $250 to $700. Sagging runs, leaks at most seams or rot behind the gutters mean replacement is the better spend. We'd rather fix the one bad corner and hear from you again in ten years. More on our gutter repair page.
What new gutters cost in South Charlotte
On a typical 2,000 to 3,000 square foot home, a full seamless gutter replacement runs $3,300 to $4,700 installed, or $4,800 to $8,450 with gutter guards. Smaller homes start around $1,650. Those numbers come from our own price sheet, and the full table by house size is on our gutter installation page.
What moves your number: roof height and pitch, how many downspouts, tear-off and haul-away, 5-inch or 6-inch, add-ons like guards or underground drainage, and how much fascia needs replacing. We measure and hand you a written price. Financing is 0% interest for 24 months on a $500 deposit, and you can prequalify with Wisetack in about a minute.
